Mobile phone service restored across country
Mobile phone service in more than 50 cities, including Lahore and Karachi, has been restored.
The mobile phone users breathed a huge sigh of relief after the restoration of cellular services which were suspended on Sunday morning.
The cellular services were suspended by interior ministry in more than 50 cities of the country after receiving intelligence’s information regarding possible terror attacks during Muharram processions.
The mobile phone services in Lahore and Karachi were suspended at 3:00am, three hours before the schedule announced on Friday night by Interior Minister Rehman Malik. In Miran Shah the PTCL service was also suspended.
