Quetta: Govt starts 'action' against protesting doctors

The doctors are staging protest against the abduction of their colleague for more than a month now.
Balochistan Chief Minister Aslam Raisani has ordered to take stern action against the protesting doctors.
He directed the chief secretary and health secretary to serve a notice of 24 hours to all the protesting doctors of the province after which an action should be taken against them.
He also said that army doctors should be called in if the doctors do not agree to resume their duties.
He further ordered to immediately appoint new doctors on the vacant seats through public service commission.
The doctors have been staging protest against the abduction of their colleague Dr Saeed Ahmed Khan for more than a month now. They lament that their security was more important their post.
