After successful launching from Lahore, Faisalabad and Sargodha, Roznama Dunya News has been launched from Karachi. Newspaper Hawkers’ Union, masses warmly welcomed launch of Roznama Dunya.
Senior columnists like Hassan Nasar, Nazir Naji, Haroon Rashid and Orya Maqbool Jan have been writing columns for the Roznama Dunya. Roznama Dunya office is equipped with the state of the art machinery.
Earlier, a reception was held in Karachi before regular publication of ‘Roznama Dunya’ from the city which was attended by office-bearers of hawkers’ organisations and large number of newspaper hawkers.
Addressing the gathering, Roznama Dunya’s Editor-in-Chief Mian Amir Mehmood said that people related to newspaper industry are like a family. He said that Roznama Dunya would be a successful newspaper and hawkers would be his partners in this success.
Mian Amir Mehmood also donated a cheque of Rs 3 million for the old Age Employees Fund for 200 hawkers on the occasion. At least 10 motorcycles and 50 mobile phones were also distributed among hawkers at the end of the ceremony.
