Manzoor Watto has said Punjab will reject hypocritical politicians in the upcoming elections.

Addressing a big rally at Nasir Bagh Lahore, newly appointed PPP Punjab president Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo said PPP and PML-Q will sweep elections in Punjab.A large number of PPP workers attended the rally.Earlier Manzoor Wattoo was given a warm welcome at the Lahore Airport.PPP workers displayed their traditional zeal by raising slogans and dancing on drum beats.Wattoo said he had joined PPP after seeing the commitment and enthusiasm of the party workers.“Aisf Ali Zardari has appointed a party worker as prime minister of Pakistan,” he said.The PPP president said he would accommodate PML-Q on basis of equality and two parties will go hand in hand.“I have defeated the Takht Lahore two times in the past,” he said.“We believe in politics of tolerance and mutual respect and shun allegations and mud-slinging.”, Wattoo said.Criticising the Rapid Transport System, he said 70 billion rupees have been wasted on single road. “Roads of the whole province could be constructed with this money,” he added.Funds have also been wasted on Danish Schools which have been established in jungles, he said.Newly appointed General Secretary of the PPP Central Punjab, Tanvir Ashraf Qaira said he would personally go the houses of disgruntled party workers.Ashraf said the rally had established the fact that Punjab was PPP’s stronghold.Former MNA and People’s Labour Bureau president Chaudhry Manzoor Ahmad asked the party workers to start preparing for the elections.Addressing the rally Federal Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan said the PPP would free the people of Punjab from self-serving brothers.Paying tribute to the political wisdom of President Zaradari, Firdous said he successfully foiled every move against him and the party.“Lahore is no more the fort of PML-N, she said.Firdous said PPP had been doing slow batting so far but now it would hit sixes and fours.
