A 14-member bench of the Supreme Court (SC) has issued the contempt of court notices to all the PCO judges, Dunya News Friday reported. The judges who have been served notice on include Justice Abdul Hamid Dogar, Justice Muhammad Nawaz Abbasi, Justice Saeed-ul-Shahed, Justice Mosa K Laghari, Justice Ijaz Yousaf, Justice Ejaz-ul-Hasan and Justice Qaim Jan Khan. Justice Fakir Muhammad Kokhar and Justice M Javed Butter can also be affected by the decision. Justice M Javed Butter resigned after taking oath under PCO. Chaired by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary, the bench issued its corrected order after a brief procedure and observed that owing to the typing error, SC PCO judges were not served the notices earlier.
