Quetta: Train service resumes after 40 days

The train service was suspended about one and half month ago due to flood in Sindh and Baluchistan.

The departure of trains started from Quetta on Thursday after the repair of track at Dera Allahyar section near Jacobabad.According to details, the service of train was suspended due to heavy rains and flooding in the area at Dera Allahyar track on September 8, 2012.After the closure of track, the train service from Quetta to Karachi and Lahore via Sukkur and Rohri remained suspended for more than a month, causing millions of loss to PR.
