CNG to be gradually phased out says Dr Asim

Dr has said that gas load-shedding duration during winters will depend on gas supply.

Petroleum Advisor Dr Asim Hussain has said that Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) would be categorically phased out due to shortage of gas supply in the country.Talking to media persons ‚ he said the decision to increase gas load-shedding during winters depends on gas supply. However‚ domestic consumers will face less load-shedding as compared to the previous year.Asim said that summary of one billion cubic feet of gas import would be presented for approval to the Economic Coordination Committee meeting today.
