Law making not enough but implementation: CJP

Chief justice has said law making is not enough but it should be implemented in its true spirit.

While addressing the Sindh High Court Bar Association in Karachi, Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said that rule of law is real guarantor to the lives and property of citizens but unfortunately the society have fallen victim to terrorism.While throwing light on terrorism, he said that it has many forms namely bio terrorism, armed terrorism, narco-terrorism and many others. Innocent people are being targeted by different scientific and technical techniques.He said that terrorism is not a regional issue but it has become an international one; so it is dire need of hour to define the crime in transparent way and then prosecute the criminal elements without any compromise or reconciliation.This is the only way to salvation, concluded chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
