PM Raja Pervaiz Ashraf says the nation would move ahead on the road to progress despite challenges.
Prime Minister launched two landmark multi-million dollar strategic projects at Karakoram Highway to restore historic road linkage with China.He said this during a briefing on Karakoram Highway Realignment project in Hunza on Friday.He said the tendency of pursuing negative thoughts needed to be done away with. “We can hope to achieve progress only with greater love and understanding” said Raja Pervaiz Ashraf.Referring to terrorism issue‚ the prime minister said Pakistan ranked top for rendering innumerable sacrifices in the fight against terrorism. It has lost precious lives of civilians and law-enforcement agencies personnel.He added that the PPP and its allies are proud to have politically empowered the people of Gilgit Baltistan.He acknowledged that the government of Gilgit-Baltistan is striving hard to serve the masses.Earlier‚ the prime minister launched two landmark multi-million dollar strategic projects at the Karakoram Highway to restore the historic road linkage with China. The link was severed due to the artificial Atta-abad lake created as a result of landslides.
