Anti-Islam Film protests: Security beefed up in Islamabad, Lahore

Security in Islamabad and Lahore has been beefed up in anticipation of anti-Islam film protests.

The administration and police have sealed Red Zone in Islamabad to prevent protest against sacrilegious film.Security has also been on high alert in Lahore and container will be placed on all the roads leading to American Consulate after Juma prayers.A protest procession, organised by Rawalpindi Bar Association, will be taken out today. Authorities have sealed the Red Zone area to prevent protests. Containter have been placed at roads leading to Sareena Chowk, Dee Chowk and Diplomatic Enclave.In Lahore too, security outside the American consulate has been tightened and 3,000 police officials have been deployed to prevent protestors from reaching the building. All roads leading to American Consulate will be blocked by placing containers after Juma prayers.
