Four Pakistanis have been sentenced for life in UK for killing Naila Mumtaz.
A Pakistani man and three members of his family were jailed after being convicted of murdering his pregnant wife claiming she was possessed by evil spirits.Naila Mumtaz, originally from Pakistan, died at her home in Birminghams Handsworth Wood district in July 2009. She was six months pregnant.Her husband Mohammed Tauseef Mumtaz, his mother and father, Salma Aslam and Ziaul Haq and his brother-in-law, Hammad Hussan, were found guilty of murder after a three-month trial at the citys crown court in July this yearTauseef Mumtaz was jailed for a minimum of 13 years, his parents were given minimum terms of 15 years each, while his brother-in-law Hammad was also imprisoned for at least 13 years.
