OGRA forwards summary to increase petrol price

OGRA has sent the summary to the petroleum ministry.

According to summary, the Oil and Gas regulatory Authority (OGRA) has proposed to increase petrol price by Rs 1.75 per litre.On the other hand, OGRA has recommended to cut down diesel price by 20 paisas per litre, kerosene oil by Rs 1.5, high octane Rs 4.40 and light diesel by Rs 1.5 per litre.The government will decide on petroleum product prices by tomorrow and the new prices will be applicable from September 24.After approval, the petrol will be available at Rs 108.47/litre, diesel Rs 113.57, HOBC Rs 135.56, kerosene oil Rs 106.18 and light diesel Rs 100.51 per litre.
