Mobile phone services across the country have been suspended on instruction of Interior Ministry.

According to details, mobile phone services have been suspended all over the country including Lahore and Karachi as a precaution to avert any untoward incident during countrywide protest called by the government against the release of anti-Islam film.The government had announced a public holiday to observe Youme Ishq-e-Rasool (Day of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)’s love) across the country on Friday (today).According to the sources, the cellular services will remain suspended until 11pm today.
