Former federal minister and MNA of PML-Q, Riaz Hussain Pirzada has joined PML-N.
He also has decided to contest the forthcoming general elections from the platform of PML-N.Sources said that Pirzada has resigned from the ministry and party membership, after a controversy over some important issues with the party leaders. After his resignation the PML-N started contacting with Pirzada, and now the concerns with the PML-N have settled down and very soon he would meet with the PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif.According to sources, Riaz Hussain Pirzada confirmed that he was in contact with PML-N and he wanted all the ‘League components’ to get united for contesting the general elections.He said ‘I wish that all the components of the Leagues shall get united to contest the next elections.’In reply to a question, he said that he had not yet called on Nawaz Sharif yet but soon he would meet with the PML-N chief.Upon the issue of new provinces he said that the movement of Bahawalpur province was sabotaged by chanting the slogan of Seraiki province, while the dwellers of Seraiki built have remained premier, chief minister and governor and they want to make Bahawalpur province.Pirzada said that the political atmosphere of the country should remain good. Adding that he said he would not resign from the membership of the assembly until the assembly was dissolved.
