Lahore: Heavy rain inundates low-lying areas

A heavy downpour on Monday evening inundated low-lying areas in Lahore.

The city roads gave a look of canals after heavy rain which started on Monday evening. Several roads in the city, including Davis Road, Jail Road, Abbot Road, McLeod Road, Nisbat Road, were submerged under three to four feet of rainwater.Dozens of motorcycles and cars were trapped on flooded roads and people faced hardship in reaching their homes.
