Pakistan gives top priority to its relations with China, PM Raja tells his Chinese counterpart.

Pakistan and China have reiterated the resolve to further expand their relations and enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields particularly in economy.This was stated by Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and his Chinese counterpart Wen Jiabao during a meeting in Tianjin this morning.Both the leaders discussed bilateral relations including economic cooperation and regional situation.Prime Minister Pervez Ashraf said Pakistan gives top priority to its relations with China and wants to convert this friendship into a strong partnership.He said Pak-China friendship is exemplary and we are proud of it. He said friendship with China is corner stone of Pakistans foreign policy.The chinese Prime Minister said his country considers Pakistan a trusted friend and expressed the confidence that relations between the two countries will further expand in days to come.Reaffirming support for Pakistans sovereignity and integrity‚ the Chinese Premier said Pakistan is playing major role in regional peace and the world must recognize the countrys sacrifices.He said relations with Pakistan will be further strengthened in different fields.China will help National Bank of Pakistan in issuance of 6.50 billion dollars bonds. It will also send heavy machinery for Attabad lake next month.
