NEPRA approves hike in electricity tariff

Electricity tariff has been increased by 85 paisa per unit.

The NEPRA has issued a notification for increase in power tariff by 85 paisa per unit from July.The rate of electricity has been increased under the head of Fuel Adjustment. The new tariff will be applicable from March 2013.However, Karachi Electrict Supply Company (KESC)consumers and those who consume only up to 90 units will be exempted from the new hike.
