Taliban commander along with his companion was killed in security forces operation while 60 militants had been arrested. According to ISPR, 22 terrorists were captured in Shah Dheri, 10 in Gwalerai while 13 terrorists in Piochar, Barshaur and Sarbanda surrendered themselves to security forces. Four terrorists were arrested from Saidu Sharif and Tutan Banda. Five passengers were killed when terrorists opened fire on their van near Jarona village of Malakand. On the other hand, 29 trucks of rations and relief goods were distributed among Malakand IDPs.
