Peshawar: Flooding in Budni nullah sparks evacuation
Hundreds of residents were forced to evacuate due to overflowing in Budni nullah of Peshawar.
While the monsoon rains have lowered the temperature and humid in upper parts of Punjab, it has also wreaked havoc in other parts of the country.Due to overflowing in Budni Nullah, hundreds of homes were affected that forced several people to shift to safer places.The streets and roads of Sardar Colony, Qazi Karano, Qasab Khana, Nishat Mills, Hassan Garhi, Basheerabad, Maqsoodabad, Faqeer Qalay andAbdullahabad were inundated due to the flooding in nullah Budni of Peshawar.Many of the residents took refuge on their rooftops while many remain stranded on roads on Tuesday.Meanwhile, the administration paid no heed to rescue the residents and hasn’t taken any effective steps for the residents as yet.
