Low-level flood has been occurred in Chenab and Ravi as heavy rains inundate many cities of Punjab.

According to meteorological department, low-level flood occurred in Chenab at Head Marala with the inflow of over 1,26,860 cusecs of water, while inflow of water in Ravi is 54,450 cusecs.Flood forecasting division forecasted that Chenab was likely to attain a level of low to medium flood within 24 hours. The Jhelum River, too, was forecast to be in low to medium flood at Mangla.
