Interior Minister Rehman Malik has asked the DG Rangers to present detailed report on talks between him and the Indian officials at Wagha Border, reported Dunya News. Pakistan strongly denied Indian allegations of firing rockets on Indian limits through Wagha border in a statement issue by the Interior Ministry. Pakistan did not incite India for any fire, the statement maintained. Officials of both the countries have agreed upon making the flag meeting speedy and exchange the information, the statement divulged. Talking to Dunya News, senior analyst Talat Masood said that India should launch a joint investigation of the incident instead of accusing Pakistan. He opined that Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh wanted strong ties between Pakistan and India but some members of his party were opposed to it. Both the countries have to face problems due to it. The offer of negotiations is being turn down again and again by India, he maintained. He believed that the incident could have a great impact on the Pak-India foreign secretaries meeting in New York.
