The PM has said that the government is serious about holding transparent elections in the country.

Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has urged the media not to spread despondency and highlight facts only.Speaking at an Iftar-dinner in honour of newsmen in Islamabad‚ he said despondency affects investment and national development.He said the government welcomes criticism by media and gets guidance from it.The prime minister said the democratic government was serious about holding of transparent elections in the country. He said elections are the only way to strengthen the parliament.
