Railway traffic has been restored after maintenance of the track. Karachi Station Master Arshad Mehmood told Dunya News today that railway traffic has been restored and trains are being sent to different cities from Karachi Cantt. Railway traffic was blocked on Thursday when two trains collided near Kotri railway station at Jamshoro injuring five people including driver and fireman. Eight bogies were overturned and thousands of ton oil spilled out of a cargo train. A bogie caught fire which was controlled by the fire brigade. Rangers took the control of the area to avoid any untoward incident and removed unconcerned people from the spot. The commuters were facing difficulties as the departure of all trains scheduled from Karachi Cantt station had been delayed after the collision. Whereas the relief train sent to the Kotri had also been derailed.
