Lahore High Court Chief Justice resumed hearing of Hajj quota case on Wednesday.
Justice Umer Ata Bandial remarked that Ministry of Religious Affairs should ensure equitable distribution of Hajj quota while keeping rules and regulations in view.Counsel of the petitioners told court that no action has been taken against previous Hajj tour operators those violated the law and they were only asked to pay small amount of fine.Justice Bandial observed that court can only take action within its limits.The court has also issued notice to Competition Commission to submit its reply by October 1.
