Asghar Khan Case: Asad Durrani produces documents in SC

ISIs ex-chief General(r) Asad Durrani put his reply and some other documents in the Supreme Court.

A three-member bench of Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry conducted hearing of Asghar Khan Case and reviewed secret documents produced by General (r) Asad Durrani.While passing his remarks, Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said, “The court appreciates your straightforwardness but why you are insisting to keep these documents secret.”The CJP also said that all things seem good in their open dimension, adding that it would be very difficult to use these documents in the case if these are kept in secrecy.Justice Jawad S Khawaja said that no notification regarding establishment of political cell of the ISI could be found; it is very strange to come to know as how the country is going to be run.General (r) stated in the court that if anybody refuses after having money, it can’t be proved as it has no evidence or proof.
