Police probe escape of high-profile killer

Islamabad Police are investigating the escape of Roohullah, from District Headquarters Hospital.

Roohullah is the alleged murderer of former Attorney General and former judge of Peshawar High Court, Sardar Khan.Sources said the accused Roohullah made his passport on July 20 through mysterious means and just after eight days he flew to Dubai in the wee hours of July 29 by Emirates Airline flight EK-615.Two teams headed by high-ups of federal police department were constituted to arrest the murder accused Roohullah.The first investigative team is headed by AIG Operations, Islamabad, namely Tahir Alam Khan while the second team by ASP Margalla, Captain (Retd.) Mustansar.On Monday, AIG Operations, Tahir Alam Khan started probing staff of DHQ Hospital and those policemen deployed for keeping an eye on the accused.The committee has probed the policemen who were arrested previously.The police have arrested all the police personnel deployed for the security of the high profile suspect and filed an FIR against them.The police authorities are also investigating how Roohullah got a genuine passport and who among the police force facilitated him.It merits mentioning here that former Attorney General and former judge Peshawar High Court was killed in Peshawar in February 2010.
