The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Sunday said if article 6 of the constitution was exercised then 300 thousand people would be hanged including many generals and judges. He announced to forgive all the perpetrators of 1992 military operation on the occasion of Defence Day. During a telephonic address to an Iftaar dinner hosted in honor of intellectuals and journalists in Karachi, Altaf Hussain stressed to talk about truth and reconciliation instead of retribution and vengeance in the current scenario. He urged all the political and religious parties to begin a new political journey and work to resolve public problems instead of blaming each other. Asking the government to stop military operation in Balochistan, the MQM chief demanded to summon All Parties Conference (APC) to discuss Balochistan and other issues, otherwise MQM would convene APC after Eid.
