40 peacocks die due deficiency of Vitamin A

More than forty peacocks have died in different parts of Tharparkar due to Vitamin A deficiency.

A large number of peacocks are suffering from deficiency of Vitamin A in several parts of Tharparkar while more than forty have died so far.According to Wildlife Department the peacocks go blind due to deficiency of Vitamin A that causes brain hemorrhage and later leads to their death.The Wildlife authorities say that medicines have been distributed in different villages and the number of peacocks’ deaths would soon come down.
