Rasool Mehsud removed as MD NTDC

Rasool Mehsud has been removed as the MD of the National Transmission and Dispatch Company (NTDC).

Mehsud will be replaced by Naveed Ismail as the new Managing Director while Salahuddin Rafahi has been appointed as advisor to Ministry for Water and Power. On Monday, Federal Minister for Water and Power Ahmed Mukhtar declared he and Mehsud could not hold their respective posts at the same time.According to a notification, drop scene of Rasool Khan Mehsud has come to an end.Mukhtar had alleged that Mehsud was using his contacts to retain his position. Mukthar added that he would leave the ministry if Mehsud continued working on his position.The Water and Power Minister had issued orders to suspend Mehsud after he had taken charge of the ministry.After coming to the office, Salahuddin met the minister for water and power.After coming to power as a minister, Ahmad Mukhtar had suspended Rasool Mehsud Khan but then PM Gilani directed him to carry on his services.
