Raja vows to defend people's mandate

Newly-elected PM Raja Pervaiz Ashraf Friday said that no one would be allowed to violate mandate.

Clash and conflict among the institutions would not be allowed, he said.Addressing the National Assembly, he said that dialogues are sole solution to all issues. He is in dire need of the opposition cooperation for Accountability Act of which draft would be tabled in the assembly very soon, he said.He said that supremacy of the parliament would be made sure.While criticizing dictatorship, he said that all the main political parties played pivotal role for restoration of democracy in the country.He said that he belonged to middle class but it was benevolence of Almighty Allah and favour of the party leadership and workers that he has been elected as the Prime Minister. He would use all his faculties of head and heart for the uplift of the nation, he said.He paid tribute to the founding father of the PPP and other party leaders, with the intention that he would remain committed to the party leadership and follow the vision of Quaid-e-Azam for progress and prosperity of the country.He made it clear that special attention would be focused for peace and prosperity of the war-torn province Balochistan.
