Tension gripped Gulistan-e-Johar area when an alleged target killer died after jumping from rooftop

According to details, alleged target killer Liaquat Bangash jumped from the rooftop of a four-storey building to avoid arrest. He was shifted to hospital in critical condition where he succumbed to injuries.Liaquat was allegedly wanted in dozens of cases of severe crimes.As the dead body of Liaquat Bangash was brought to Gulistan-e Johar, some unknown people started firing and injured least four people.After the incident, the situation got tense in different areas including, Safoora, Rabia City and Sachal where business centres were closed while a large number of Rangers and police force were deployed in the area.ANP leaders and workers offered the funeral prayer of Liaquat Bangash.According to party leader Bashir Jan, Liaquat Bangash had been ANP activist but his membership was suspended.Bashir demanded investigation into the incident.
