According to met office, hot and dry weather will persist across the country in next 24 hours.

Maximum temperature was recorded as 47 degree centigrade in Mianwali and Bukkar on Saturday.Temperature in other major cities was recorded as:Multan and Lahore forty six, Islamabad, Muzaffarabad and Peshawar forty three, Faisalabad forty four, Gilgit thirty seven and thirty one degree centigrade was recorded in Murree.
