Rehman Malik says he will quit politics if his involvement in Arsalan case proved.
Interior advisor to Prime Minister, Rehman Malik while talking to media in Islamabad on Wednesday said thatArsalan case should not be taken as a clash between institutions, adding that it is the matter between two individuals.Malik said he will file for damages worth Rs 3 billion against TV anchors who had dragged his name into the Arsalan Iftikhar case and promised to quitpolitics if found guilty.“Today, I called my lawyer and am going to file for damages worth Rs3 billion against all anchors who took my name and for this, as advised by my lawyer, if any other action is required, I will take it,” he said.Malik said that he had always respected the Supreme Court and would appear before it if the court ordered to record his statement.
