Aitzaz Ahsan said he was saddened on Arsalan Iftikhar issue but the CJ was not responsible for this.

Talking to media at Lahore High Court, PPP leader Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan said the that the chief justice should not have been on the bench hearing Arsalan Iftikhar case while he detached from the bench after public opinion. He said that he strongly believes that the chief justice had no role in the matters of Arsalan Iftikhar.Aitzaz said that Malik Riaz had shown him some material about Arsalan but he did not saw all documents but he was saddened to se all this. He said Malik Riaz would have to prove his stance in the court after his return.Barrister Aitzaz added that some journalists exaggerated while some people added fuel to the fire regarding the issue.Aitzaz denied the hoax about ‘clearance of son in place of son’.
