Resolution passed against appointment of administrators
A resolution was passed against the appointment of administrators in place of nazims in local body convention convened by MQM in Karachi. Nazim Karachi Mustafa Kamal said that his struggle was for the safety of local body system instead of prolonging his nazimship. He said that MQM did not deal on the rules; it was serving the people with local body system and development projects in the city were more than the last 58 years. Chairman National Reconstruction Bureau Daniyal Aziz said that peoples rights were rejected in the past and now changes in local body system would kill the spirit of the system. Federal Minister Farooq Sattar said that the end of local body system will prove them wrong who were talking about the rights of the people. He said that people were looking towards the MQM for the safety of the system.
