A three-judge bench comprising the chief justice, Justice Khilji Arif Hussian and Justice Jawad S. Khwaja is hearing a petition on the law and order situation and human rights violations in Balochistan at the Quetta registry of Supreme Court on Tuesday.During case proceedings Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry expressed strong resentment over absence of defence, interior and principal secretaries to the prime minister, despite court orders to appear in the missing personscases.Chief Justice remarked that agencies are facing serious allegations but the government seems least interested on the issue.He also said that Frontier Corps (FC) is accused of involvement in more than eighty percent of the cases.The Chief Justice, while addressing Deputy Attorney General Malik Sikandar, said do whatever it takes to recover the missing persons.Unable to satisfy the judges, Deputy Attorney General (AG) Malik Sikander submitted his resignation,saying that he took the charge due to circumstances and laterwalked out of the court.
