ASI shot dead in Rawalpindi

Assistant sub inspector has been killed in police encounter in Rawalpindi.

Three dacoits have also been killed in the encounter while to other policemen have been injured.According to Dunya News, the police conducted a raid on a tip off near Chakri interchange in miyal area of Rawalpindi.In an exchange of fire, assistant sub inspector Ghulam Akhtar was martyred while two other police personnel were injured in the incident.According to police sources, the dacoits were wanted in several cases of dacoity and crime.Meanwhile. the bodies have been shifted to hospital while the injured personnel have been provided with medical aid.
