Eight militants killed, three soldiers martyred in Swat: ISPR
Operation Rah-e-Raast continues in Swat and security forces killed eight militants in Kanju. Three soldiers were martyred in Char Bagh in clashes with militants. ISPR said that security forces arrested two militants including commander Ishaq in Sakhra, Amlok and Qila Madin during the search operation. In Wali Abad, a locality of Char Bagh, militants rammed an explosive ridden vehicle into the check post martyring three soldiers. ISPR said that 253,000 food cards had been distributed among IDPs, adding that IDPs had obtained Rs 6 billion through those cards.
