Government has approved amendments in Frontier Crimes Regulations (FCR) whereas decision to impose political parties act has been taken. According to sources, political agents decision could be challenged in a three member appellate court constituted under FCR amendments. The accused would have to be presented before the court in 24 hours. Under the FCR amendments, made after 107 years, people below the age of 16 and above 65 could not be imprisoned, sources told. The procedure to constitute Jirga in FATA has also been amended. The announcement of decisions is expected soon.
