Karachi violence claims 7 more lives

At least 7 people were killed and three injured in acts of violence in different parts of Karachi.

According to details, some unidentified persons open fire at a car in Gulshan Iqbal area and critically injured 55-year-old Muhammad Siddique. He was rushed to a private hospital where he died of his wounds. Police have also recovered a dead body with torture marks from Korangi Sector 51.In another incident of violence, one Munir Ahmad was shot dead and his sons Ameed Ullah and Anwar were critically wounded in Sultanabad area during firing by some unidentified culprits.In Mangupir area, some unidentified persons shot dead two people. The dead were identified as Qasim and Ahsan Ullah.In yet another incident of firing, three people including two police officials were critically injured in Malir Kemari area. The injured were shifted to nearby hospital where police constable Altaf succumbed to his injuries.Meanwhile, another injured in Lucky Star area firing incident also died in hospital.
