Spell of rain to start from Monday

Met Office has predicted a spell of rain in upper parts of the country from Monday.

Met Office informed that a fresh westerly wave is likely to grip upper parts of the country on Monday evening. Under the influence of this weather system rain/dust-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Upper Punjab and Kashmir andGilgit-Baltistan on Tuesday and Wednesday.Weather in Northern areas is likely to remain dry on Sunday and Monday. However, snowfall is predicted over the high mountain of Gilgit-Baltistan including Siachen on Tuesday and Wednesday.
