At least 6 more people were gunned down in different incident of violence in Karachi.

Death toll in the wave of target killing in Karachi reached 12 during the past 24 hours. According to details, some unidentified persons opened fire and shot dead a student of a seminary in Malir Ghazi Town area while a prayer leader was shot dead in Steel Town area of the city.Another man, Khursheed, was shot dead near airport when some unidentified persons opened fire at his car. In Haidery Town, some unidentified gunmen opened fire and killed an activist of a political party and injured three other people when they were sitting in a hotel.On the other hand, some unidentified persons opened fire on police officials when they were present at a hotel in Sohrab Goth area, killing Constable Rizwan and injuring three others including two police officials. Police launched a search operation after the attack and arrested 18 suspects.Some unidentified persons shot dead a man in frontier More area near Site while some miscreants set ablaze a van near Hasanabad Chorangi area.Meanwhile, the death toll in acts of violence during the past 24 hours has reached 12. Rangers launched a targeted operation in Pak Colony and arrested 12 suspects and recovered arms, bullet proof jackets and drugs from them.
