Angry protesters attacked Baghdadi Police Station in Lyari after the death of a citizen.

Fight between residents and police broke out in Chaki Wara area of Lyari after the death of a citizen. Angry protesters also attacked Baghdadi Police Station. Police resorted to aerial firing and tear gas shelling to disperse the protesters.The protesters collected tear gas shells fired by police and hurled them in the residence of police officials nearby. The protesters also pelted stones on the vehicle of MQM provincial minister Nadia Gabol, damaging the vehicle.The protesters in Malir, Golimar, Machar Colony and Mawacha Gotha also blocked roads by burning tyres while some unidentified persons opened fire and forced the shopkeepers to shut their shops.
