Backed by people of the area, search operations are successfully being conducted by security forces in Swat and Malakand, said an ISPR press release issued Saturday. In Swat two local militants from Shakardarra voluntarily surrendered to the security forces at Shalpalam. Security forces conducted search operation at Daranpata and Sinpora (3 Km South of West Chuprial) and recovered different medicines and surgical equipment from Zarrar Markaz (A militant hub). Security forces conducted search operation at Malukabad and Cham near Charbagh and killed 2 militants and apprehended 4 suspects. The Security forces conducted search operation at Ballogram, Qambar and Rahimabad and apprehended 2 militants and destroyed 8 houses of militants. Two vehicles belonging to militant Ibne-Amin which were buried in the ground at Derai in Beha valley were recovered during the search operation. Militants quarreled with each other at Batara, Buner over release of a kidnapped civilian. One militant was killed and five were injured in the fight. In Mohmand six wanted militants belonging to Mirza Khel and Shati Khel tribes unconditionally surrendered to the civil administration.
