5.6 magnitude quake jolts Kalat

An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the richter scale hit Kalat and adjoining areas in Balochistan on Monday morning.Earthquake tremors were felt at about 8:15 a.m.The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a focal depth of 9 km in southwest of Quetta.According to initial reports, the quake created panic among people, but no loss of life was reported.
