The joint sitting of the parliament will resume today after five days break.
Parliament of Pakistan will resume its joint sitting after a five day long break today (Monday) at 5:00pm in Islamabad to discus the recommendations of Parliamentary Committee on National Security regarding the foreign policy, further engagements with US and restoration of NATO supply.Opposition leader in National assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan would start the discussion, meanwhile opposition parties have agreed to adopt joint strategy and opposition would oppose the restoration of NATO supply.Opposition would present joint recommendations and if government refused to include the opposition’s recommendations it would not support new resolution.Opposition has decided to get assurance of government for implementation of new resolution and Opposition would raise the issue of non implementation of resolution passed during in-camera session of the parliament.Meanwhile it is expected that Senator Raza Rabbani would present a report regarding the implementation on resolutions of parliament which have been already passed. The government has discussed the issue on various forums.
