24 people including a woman died in five-storey building collapse in Karachi last night. Several people are still under debris while Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilan expressed sorrow on the incident. Sindh Chief Minister has ordered a report of the building collapse. Electricity wires also broke in the building collapse plunging the entire area into darkness. The heavy machinerys access to the area is quite difficult due to narrow streets. Witnesses said that dozens of people were still under debris. Sindh Health Minister Dr Sagheer Ahmad has enforced emergency in Civil Hospital and directed every possible medical care for the injured. Municipal Services EDO Masood Alam has reached the spot and carrying out relief activities.
