Residents of Lyari held a protest against arrest of innocent people at Li Market.

Police did shelling to disperse protestors who were creating law and order situation.A large number of dwellers of Lyari gathered at Li Market and raised voice against arrest of their men during operation.They were of the view that police had arrested innocent people who had nothing to do with the charges. They also blocked road and piled stones on police vans, causing troubles for passengers.During this, security forces were deployed on the site of demonstration. Police officers also held dialogue with protestors but those proved fruitless.
