The Supreme Court has resumes hearing of PM Yousaf Raza Gilani contempt case.

A seven-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Nasirul Mulk is hearing a case regarding PM’s indictment in court contempt.The bench will give its ruling on the reservation of the Prime Minister and will decide the future procedure of the proceedings.Talking to media before appearing in the court, PM’s counsel Aitzaz Ahsan said that the court summoned the PM like accused and the PM has also responded to the court like an accused.On March 19, Prime Minister’s counsel Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan submitted his written reply in the apex court and today he has started his arguments regarding the case.The Prime Minister was indicted for contempt of court after his failure to address a letter to the Swiss authorities requesting them to re-open closed graft cases against President Asif Ali Zardari.
