ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Following recommendations by a committee established by the Prime Minister, the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has set a tuition fee cap for MBBS and BDS programs at private medical and dental colleges.

For the 2025–2024 session, the annual tuition fee is fixed at PKR 1.8 million, inclusive of all ancillary charges. Starting from the 2026–2025 session, a 5% increase has been applied, setting the fee at PKR 1.89 million.

Subsequent fee adjustments will be based on the Consumer Price Index, with separate notifications to be issued.

Private colleges have been directed to strictly follow PMDC guidelines. Non-compliance will result in action under the PMDC Act 2022.
